We offer technical consultancy services around shipping, including ship valuations, damage surveys, condition surveys, repair supervision and new building follow-up surveys for all ship types.
Our team consists of naval architects and mechanical / marine engineers, as well as captains and shipping agents / ship brokers. We guarantee reliable, efficient, and professional consultation and support for all technical questions within shipping.
Our staff is available for worldwide assignments 24 hours a day.
Reports will be delivered in German and English including an extensive photo documentation.
Activities in Far East:
Ingenieurbüro Weselmann's experience and cooperation with Far East and particularly with China is stretching far back.
Ingenieurbüro Weselmann has been engaged in various activities within maritime industry in the Far East, stretching from insurance / damage surveys over repair supervision to follow-up supervision of new buildings.
During the past years of booming shipbuilding industry in China Ingenieurbüro Weselmann has been engaged in evaluation of shipyards as well as appraisal of the standard and quality of the new buildings with a number of surveys during the production of the vessels. This work has been carried out for both owners as well as ship financing banks and financial institutions.
Over the years Ingenieurbüro Weselmann has gained a lot of experience within the shipbuilding industry in Far East and built up a very good relation and cooperation with a number of companies within the Chinese shipbuilding industry.
Ingenieurbüro Weselmann is having their own employees on site for larger projects and is also working together with Chinese survey companies who are working under supervision of Ingenieurbüro Weselmann.
A permanent branch office of Ingenieurbüro Weselmann in China has been founded on 01.09.2009 and officially opened on 01.04.2010. Managing director is Dipl.-Ing. Sören Vester, who was working many years in a responsible position for us.
